What You Need On Your Monday: Ten Favorite Vines

Happy Monday everyone! I am sure you are all thrilled to return to work and class. Normally, I do not mind Mondays. However, the US is continuing to get pounded with snow and rain. My poor Wisconsin friends have posted photos of their two-foot snowfall, much to their dismay. Today at work in Johnson City, TN, we have joked that we have had all four seasons in the past hour. 

It is also the time of year for students to begin cramming for finals. I have dozens of presentations, papers and exams that I am pretending do not exist. No matter what your schedule, you can always find time for six seconds of comedy. 

Therefore, while I sit here at the front desk of the college of education, I have taken on the challenge of compiling 10 of my favorite Vines. Enjoy.

Day 5 of 31 Day Blog Challenge: Separating Guilt from Pleasure

I'm only on day five, but I feel like I have been doing this challenge for weeks. Luckily, I have been planning ahead and I think we're heading out of the stereotypical prompt rut. I have been procrastinating this post all day. I made some benches with my dad earlier and then took a nap while watching HGTV. I don't even think I made it to the final renovation reveal. I am glad it's spring break because I doubt even my professors could have motivated me to be productive today. For a few years, I had this self rule that I was not allowed to do anything in my spare unless it was making me into a better person. For instance, I would tell myself if I had time to watch TV, I had time to take a run. Day 3 of the 31 Day Blog Challenge

Obviously, I don't have a business. I hope to one day but for now, I have this blog. Therefore, I will be explaining the meaning of my blog title. If you're here, you most likely know I have a chihuahua named Goldie. Hardly a conversation passes where I do not mention her. Nonetheless, I think it is time for Goldie's character backstory. In the fall of 2016, I began college at East Tennessee State University. To put it simply, I was miserable. I was studying biology under the absurd notion that I was to be a vet someday. I learned quickly that chemistry was not a friend of mine. One of the classes you are required to take during your first semester at ETSU is referred to as ETSU 2020.
